The JLA Archives

The JLA Archives is the independent press of Juliet Lee Ann; dedicated to creating, publishing, and preserving original visual work through photography, print, and storytelling.

Founded from my lifelong love of photography books and printed media, the Archives exist to create work that lives in the physical world. Physical media that cannot be replaced; which makes it that much more sentimental and valuable.

Much of the work explores the duality of womanhood, nature, and connection. It also reflects on the human experience, the relationships we have with the world around us; and life's contradictions. Rather than offering answers, each body of work invites viewers to slow down, reflect, and discover their own meaning.



By turning digital and film photographs into physical media, each project becomes something that can be special. Something that can be experienced, shared, collected, and revisited for years to come; by you and by the people you love.

In an increasingly digital world, JLA Archives is rooted in the belief that books and printed media matter. My photos deserve a place where the visual stories can be physically held, felt, returned to, and of course, remembered.
