What I Do

I’m Juliet Lee Ann, a photographer and creative director based in New York. I create editorial, campaign, and creative photography for women, creatives, artists, and brands.

My work is centered around people, connection, nature, and the outdoors. I’m drawn to natural environments, movement, and genuine moments, creating cinematic photographs while feeling unique, honest, and deeply personal to each person I photograph.

Who I Work With

I work with women and creatives who love fashion, makeup, beauty, art, and beautiful imagery. You don’t have to be a model or have a specific reason to book. Maybe you want to dress up, get your hair and makeup done, plan a shoot to have beautiful storytelling photographs of yourself that remind you of who you are; as your most genuine, authentic, beautiful self.

I also work with artists and independent creatives bringing their ideas into the world, whether that’s a book, fashion line, artwork, music project, or something completely their own.

For brands, I create imagery for fashion, beauty, and independent brands through campaigns, lookbooks, product imagery, collections, and other creative projects.

The Way I Work

Every project starts with a conversation. We’ll talk through your ideas, what you want to create, and what you need from your photographs. From there, we’ll figure out the concept, location, and direction together.

I want the process to feel collaborative, comfortable, and natural, while still creating work that has a strong visual point of view.

Why I Print

I don’t think photographs should only live on a phone or disappears when your phone runs out of battery.

I want the work we create to have a life beyond the screen; whether that’s a print for yourself, a book for your project, a lookbook for your collection, or a photograph you’re giving to someone special.

Prints are available for every project, with options for size, paper, finish, and framing. I’ll walk you through the options and help you choose what works best for your images and how you want to use them.

Make Something You’ll Keep

Whether you’re creating something for your career, bringing an idea to life, or simply wanting beautiful photographs of yourself, I want to make work that truly means something to you.

Something you’ll want to keep, come back to, and remember.

My Creative Process

Before I walk out my door for a shoot, I have a creative process that goes into curating a concept shoot that could take either a couple of hours to a few weeks to plan. For either personal or client work, I draw inspiration from films, magazines, fashion editorials, art, nature and flowers.

I plan out the overall story, emotion, and message I'm aiming to convey; using colors, fashion/styling, makeup/hair, poses/facial expressions, framing/composition, and the environment to create a strong concept for the shoot. <3
